4) How to select a coach?
There needs to be a synergetic match with you & your coach. Determine what your end goal is & choose a coach accordingly.
Select a trusted advisor that will be honest with you, while challenging you.
It is important to remember you are co-designing a coaching partnership. Recall a strong positive solid relationship you currently hold in your life. Observe how you built that partnership & what aspects are important to you about the partnership. You will want to replicate those same attributes with your advisor into your coaching agreement.
We encourage clients objectively, interview more than one coach to determine "what feels right" in terms of trust, chemistry & approach. Is your advisor logical & analytical or collegial & relaxed in their approach to achieve your goals? Look for stylistic similarities & differences.

5) What timeframe can render results?
Timelines are different for everyone depending on your personal pace or organizational objective. Progress also depends on how fast or slow you choose to implement your personalized action plan.
Coaching is a partnership, so be bold to express feedback or concerns.
6) What length of time should you be coached?
The length of a coaching partnership varies depending on the level of the individual's commitment or a team's requirements & preferences.
"High intensity coaching" is focused coaching, three to six months of work can often achieve results. Other types of coaching, individuals may find it beneficial to work with a coach for a longer duration. There are various factors that may impact the length of time: Complexity of goals, the way an individual or team prefers to work, the frequency of sessions & financial resources available to support your coaching efforts.
7) How is coaching measured?
Coaching is measured in two distinct ways: We incorporate both types of metrics, external & internal indicators of performance and success.
a) External measurement: includes achievement of coaching goals established at the outset of the coaching relationship, increased income/revenue, obtaining a promotion, performance feedback that is obtained from a sample of the individual's constituents (e.g., direct reports, colleagues, clients, boss, the manager him/herself), personal and/or business performance data (productivity, efficiency measures).
The external measures selected are aspects the individual is currently measuring & has some ability to directly influence the metrics.
b) Internal measurement: includes self awareness, self-scoring,
self-validating assessments that can be administered initially and at regular intervals in the coaching process. This reviews changes in the individual's self-care regime, self-awareness, shifts in mindset that create more effective actions & changes in one's emotional state to inspire confidence.
